This Champagne GR 14 45 (GR = Graves / 14 = Year / 45 (4.5g) = Dosage) has a brilliant color with delicate golden reflections. The nose expresses freshness and minerality which blend with subtle notes of ripe citrus. The attack on the palate is chiseled and tense, supported by a mousse with a creamy texture. The citrus and stone fruit flavors harmoniously complement the freshness of the wine to give it a long and tasty finish.

Sourced in Avize and Cremant, the NV Valentin Leflaive Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut (sourced almost completely in 2010 and disgorged in February 2015) offers a deep, rich and intense bouquet of lemon flavors. Concentrated, intense and firm, this is young but promising. This is a rich and potent Chardonnay with an excellent ageing potential. It also has great grip.
