Pop of fruit on the entry is lengthened by delicate tannic grip and freshened by pleasant acidity. The 2018 Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir was sourced from our most esteemed vineyards in the AVA - Clos Pepe, John Sebastiano and La Encantada. These three vineyards blended seamlessly to offer flavors of the full spectrum of red, blue and black fruits. Additionally, the finely tannic structure of the wine weaved the flavors together against a backdrop of fresh acidity that made this wine one of our favorites of the 2018 vintage. Several whole-cluster fermentations (25%) added a pleasant earthiness to the wine, lending lift to the aromatics and a pleasant grip on the finish. This wine is sure to be a crowd pleaser and is a celebration of the beautiful 2018 vintage in the Sta. Rita Hill.
