Bright, dark red with ruby tones. Redcurrant, raspberry, milk chocolate, mocha and musky herbs on the expressive nose. Supple, juicy, dry and firm, with excellent intensity; in fact, the wine's core of berry and licorice flavors still needs time to unwind. As much saline as sweet, this rather structured entry-level wine has the balance for mid-term aging. Finishes firmly tannic, lightly saline and long.

Sourced from the greater Columbia Valley, the 2018 The Untold Story is a blend of 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Syrah, 15% Merlot and 5% Grenache and opens to a nose of red and black fruit with a dusty edge. Medium-bodied, flavors of dusty plum essence sway with flavors of redcurrant and hints of cassis, followed by lifting tannins across the mid-palate. The wine lingers with a solid finish that delivers well for the price. 24,000 bottles were produced. Keenly priced.
