On the nose, starts off with lively fresh-cut oak, followed by English toffee, cola spices, and sweet toasted coconut. Tastes of bold spice right out of the gate, with clove, nutmeg, and allspice. This is followed closely by coconut and hints of apple, vanilla, caramel, and a firm round mouthfeel that give evidence of considerable maturity. This whiskey closes with rye spice and warm oak tannins in concert with classic oak sweetness that lingers well past the last swallow.
